The Sims Rival inZOI Reveals Ambitious Roadmap of Creative Features
Krafton’s upcoming life simulation game, inZOI, continues to shape its own unique identity, distinguishing itself from The Sims and Life by You. In the latest roadmap update, the developers showcased several exciting features, including deeper simulation mechanics, improved city and character management, and new ways for players to share their creations.
The latest inZOI video highlighted five major features planned for launch: cars, group activities, a karma system, city editing tools, studio creation options, and an advanced photo mode. Even though these features are still in development, they already look promising.
Game director Hyungjin Kim explained that cars, a highly requested feature, will have realistic and thoughtful driving mechanics, avoiding the chaos of games like Grand Theft Auto. However, players should still drive carefully, as accidents can occur, though auto-saves offer protection.
Group activities will encourage Zois to socialize, from walks and café visits to karaoke nights. Krafton invites players to suggest additional group activities through their Discord community.
The karma system will track your Zoi’s behavior, impacting your gameplay experience based on decisions and actions. City editing tools will allow extensive personalization, while the Studio tool and photo mode enable players to create and capture custom scenarios easily.
Krafton also plans to support modding, empowering players with tools to build their own content.
